AgingIN Is Here to Disrupt What No Longer Serves—and Advance What Does
At AgingIN, everything begins with one simple truth: people come first.
We believe person-directed living is not a philosophy on the fringe; it is the foundation of better aging. When older adults are honored as full humans with voice, choice, and purpose—and when the people who support them are trusted and empowered—everything else follows: stronger communities, better care, healthier organizations, and sustainable growth.
AgingIN brings together the legacy and leadership of The GREEN HOUSE® Project and Pioneer Network, creating a true big tent for everyone committed to improving the experience of aging. Leaders of communities and companies. Care partners and clinicians. Researchers, advocates, policymakers, and everyday people who believe aging deserves better.
We also know this work can sometimes sound complex or academic. We own that—and we’re committed to making person-directed living clear, actionable, and accessible to all who want to put it into practice.
That’s why AgingINnovation 2026 marks an important moment forward. This conference reflects a renewed focus and a clearer call to action: to move beyond outdated models and lead aging services with intention, courage, and Peak Purpose.
We’re not here to make small adjustments to broken systems.
We’re here to mobilize meaningful, people-first change—and to put person-directed living where it belongs: at the center of how aging is lived, supported, and valued.
Meet the Forces Behind the Movement.
AgingIN
Formerly known as the Center of Innovation, AgingIN includes Pioneer Network and The GREEN HOUSE® Project to help champion radical innovation in aging services by bridging practice, policy, and research—all through a human-first lens.
As the organization looks to the future, at AgingINnovation 2026, they will be launching a new brand and a refreshed set of services that are designed to be approachable for all communities no matter their financial resources. Our philosophy is helping care teams move forward so that every person has a positive aging experience.
Pioneer Network
Leading the culture change movement by promoting deep systemic transformation in aging services—where choice, autonomy, and respect are the standards. We are the pioneers in culture change and person-directed care.
The GREEN HOUSE® Project
The GREEN HOUSE® Project (GHP) is a not-for-profit organization founded on the belief that everyone has the right to age with dignity. GHP seeks to protect this right by destigmatizing aging and humanizing care for all people through the creation of radically non-institutional eldercare environments that empower the lives of people who live and work in them.
The Green House team has helped organizations across the United States and the world to implement design and operational changes that lead to better outcomes for residents, substantially lower workforce turnover, and significantly higher occupancy than traditional nursing homes.
Since 2022, GHP has been formally allied with Pioneer Network under our shared nonprofit parent, the Center for Innovation.
Not Transactional. Transformational.
We bring all the voices together to create real, human-centered change in aging services. Because when we center ON people, we move the world forward—and we’re just getting started.
State Coalitions
Join the Movement for Culture Change.
Across the country, state-led coalitions are driving real progress in advancing culture change and person-directed care. These grassroots groups bring providers, caregivers, policymakers, and advocates together to create better environments for both residents and care teams.
If you’re ready to make a difference in your community, connect with your state’s coalition, or take the lead in forming one. Coalitions offer education, resources, networking, and direct collaboration with those shaping the future of senior living in your region.
