August 13, 2026 • 8:15 am–11:30 am

Join us for an engaging, in-person experience at the Senior Planet Colorado from AARP Center in Lowry, designed exclusively for AginingINnovation 2026 attendees. This immersive visit offers a firsthand look at how Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) from AARP is empowering older adults through technology, while collaborating with organizations nationwide to expand digital literacy in meaningful, scalable ways.

How AARP’s Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) is empowering older adults through technology.

Participants will explore the innovative Senior Planet model, beginning with a guided tour of the center to see how technology supports older adults in living connected, independent lives. The OATS story will highlight key program areas that drive social impact—including health and wellness initiatives focused on vision, nutrition, mobility, hearing, cognitive health, and reducing isolation.

Attendees will also learn about the Senior Planet licensing program, a proven and free framework that enables organizations to deliver high-quality technology training and programming in their own communities. Real-world examples and licensed partner perspectives will illustrate how collaboration leads to measurable outcomes.

The experience will culminate in a live sample class led by a Senior Planet trainer, giving participants the opportunity to step into the learner’s shoes, followed by a facilitated discussion to reflect on key takeaways and explore opportunities for collaboration and alignment.

Visit highlights:

  • Explore practical, scalable solutions for implementing technology programming in your community.
  • Learn how to address critical health and social determinants through technology engagement.
  • Hear directly from Senior Planet licensed partners about their experiences and outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate and expand your organization’s impact.
